La Commission européenne a annoncé aujourd’hui sa décision d'ouvrir une enquête concernant une éventuelle aide d'État fiscale par le Luxembourg à des sociétés du groupe ENGIE (anciennement dénommé GDF Suez). L'adoption de cette décision d’ouverture est une étape procédurale qui ne préjuge en rien de l'issue de l'enquête. Elle est sans lien avec toute autre procédure actuellement en cours.
Le Luxembourg estime qu'aucun traitement fiscal particulier ou avantage sélectif n'a été octroyé à des sociétés du groupe ENGIE à Luxembourg.
Le Luxembourg fournira toutes les informations requises par la Commission dans le cadre de l’enquête.

The European Commission announced today its decision to open an investigation into a possible fiscal State aid by Luxembourg to companies of the ENGIE (formerly known as GDF Suez) group. The adoption of this opening decision is a procedural step that does not pre-judge the outcome of the investigation.
It is not related to any other procedure currently in progress. Luxembourg considers that no special tax treatment or selective advantage has been awarded to any ENGIE group company in Luxembourg.
Luxembourg will submit to the Commission all information required in the context of this investigation.
