La Commission européenne a aujourd'hui annoncé sa décision d'ouvrir une enquête concernant une éventuelle aide d'État fiscale par le Luxembourg à Amazon. L'adoption de cette décision d’ouverture est une étape procédurale qui ne préjuge en rien de l'issue de l'enquête.
Le Luxembourg a fourni à la Commission toutes les informations requises et coopérera pleinement avec la Commission dans le cadre de l’enquête. Le Luxembourg est convaincu que les allégations d'aides d'État sont infondées et que l’enquête permettra à la Commission de conclure qu'aucun traitement fiscal particulier ou avantage n'a été octroyé à Amazon.

The European Commission announced today that it has adopted a decision to open an investigation into possible fiscal State aid by Luxembourg to Amazon. The adoption of the opening decision is a procedural step that does not pre-judge the outcome of the investigation.
Luxembourg has submitted all requested information to the Commission and will fully cooperate with the Commission in the investigation. Luxembourg is confident that the allegations of State aid in this case are unsubstantiated and that the Commission investigation will conclude that no special tax treatment or advantage has been awarded to Amazon.
